Gosforth Amateur Dramatic Society is based in the village of Gosforth, in the county of Cumbria, England -
Here’s a map which gives the location of Gosforth. As you see, it’s just off the A595 between Ravenglass and Whitehaven. Just down the road is Wastwater, England’s deepest lake, overlooked by Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain. Here there are rather fewer tourists, but the most beautiful views in the land.
Our Postcode is CA20 1AS. We are not far from The Lion and the Lamb and the Public Car Park. And we are right next to "StyleBank" -
Clicking on the map should open up Google maps in a new tab for you to find us.
Our productions are staged in the Public Hall.
As you pass through the village of Gosforth from the A595 towards Wasdale, you will find the Public Hall on your right, a little after the public car park and village shop.
This is what it looks like.
And finally ...
If you get this far, you’ve gone much too far and reached Wastwater. Turn around and go back about five miles.
Or stay and enjoy those beautiful views for a while -
