GADS constitution, policies, statements and procedures
Under the "Children and Young Persons Act 1963 Section 37 (3) [b]", we require a "Body of Persons Approval" issued by the Local Authority. We are also required to comply with any conditions attached to the approval. Our current BOPA was issued by Cumberland Council in Jan 2024 and is valid until Jan 2025.
Even though some of our documents may be a few years old, they are all reviewed periodically by the Committee and updated as necessary.
